I design products where business goals, technical constraints, and user needs intersect.
For 18 years, buyers have been used to paying on their own timing. The business and sellers wanted faster payment and a shorter cycle time. So the business pushed for auto-charge on everyone.
Give buyers a choice, rather than force one rule on everyone.
If buyers choose online payment, use auto-charge. If they choose offline payment, keep it manual.
This helped break the long-standing status quo and moved the project forward.
As the business evolved, listing variations kept growing. The system needed to handle that complexity without starting over each time.
I turned it into a modular structure with consistent patterns and progressive disclosure.
That kept the experience more manageable for users, and easier for engineering to extend and maintain.
Many people want to keep their life stories as they get older. The hardest part is often just getting started.
Voice-first app with swipeable prompts, voice recording, and AI transcription.
